If you want to take your business from your home to the online world, then you need to use some platform where you can showcase your business and your products. Right now in the digital era, you can do anything through social media. But if you want your business to stay for a long time without any hassle then E-commerce is the best way.

Training on Road Map of F-Commerce to E-Commerce

A 2-day long training course on the Road map of F-Commerce to E-Commerce was held at Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The program was organized by CWCCI and supported by the SME Foundation. From December 2 to 3, 2023 this training was held at CWCCI Training room.

Opening Ceremony:

Dr. Md. Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director of SME Foundation was Chief Guest at the opening ceremony and Ms. Abida Sultana, President In-Charge and Senior Vice-President of CWCCI presided over the session. In the opening session Ms. Lutmila Farid, Vice President of CWCCI and president of CWCCI Business Incubation Center said if you want to do business on the online platform then E-Commerce is the best way because there are a lot of problems on the F-Commerce platform.

Dr. Md. Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director of SME Foundation said that if you want to do business online and if it is through the Facebook platform then you might face some security problems and you might lose your business page anytime. But if you do it through E-Commerce then you’ve your security and can maintain it for a long time.

Ms. Abida Sultana, President In-Charge and Senior Vice-President of CWCCI said our country is going to be made Smart Bangladesh, and we’ll be part of this initiative. So we also need to be smart on digitalization and with technology. In this training, you’ll get to know how an e-commerce platform works and how you’ll handle it simply.

Dr. Munal Mahbub, Senior Vice-President of CWCCI and Director of FBCCI also present there. She said that Facebook is a much more popular social media platform among us and lots of SMEs are doing their business with F-Commerce, though it’s a platform for networking and other work but not a pure business platform. So if you want to do your business purely and E-Commerce is the best way.

This training was conducted by me, Yes I am also a part of CWCCI. Recently I joined as an Advisor for the Business Development Support Center of CWCCI-ILO Progress Project. The main objective of the training is to provide basic knowledge of the E-Commerce platform. How an SME can transform their business from F-Commerce to E-Commerce. Those who are currently maintaining their business on F-commerce can start their business on the E-commerce platform.

Total 30 participants have participated in this training and they’re satisfied with the course. They all are now interested in transferring their business to E-Commerce from F-Commerce. FYI, E-Cab also has collaborated with CWCCI and a total of 100 SMEs will get the same training program among them a total of 40 participants will get the chance to create their E-Commerce website with 100% free of cost.

I’ve been providing training for a long time and as a trainer for the last couple of years I’ve trained so many SMEs on F-Commerce business. Now with this training, I am trying to shift them from F-Commerce to an E-Commerce platform so that they can contribute more and develop their business as well as change their luck.
