Training on F-Commerce to E-Commerce:
Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry is working for the betterment of the women’s who’s doing business and want to achieve their success since its journey. It’s not a big deal to start a business but you need to know how you can make it sustainable. How you can do your business and make it profitable.
As we all know Facebook is now not only a platform to share our daily thoughts or posting images with our friends it’s a platform where you also can do business. F-commerce provides us the opportunity to reach online clients who want to purchase their necessary items from business owners. But there are a lot of problems on the F-commerce platform as well. We might lose our business page as well as Facebook Id.
CWCCI and E-Cab recently took initiatives to provide technical knowledge on E-commerce business expansions. Total 100 business womens will take practical training on F-commerce to E-commerce. Among them 40 participants will get the chance to create their E-commerce website free of cost from E-Cab.
Inauguration Ceremony:
4 day long training on Road Map of F-commerce to E-commerce was held at CWCCI seminar hall on 23 December 2023. Total 30 participants took part in this training. Ms. Abida Sultana, Senior Vice-President of CWCCI presided over the opening session. She said there will be a lot of barriers for doing business, especially when you are doing your business online. But you need to overcome all the challenges and you’ve to earn the faith that you can do it. CWCCI is doing everything for you.
Ms. Beby Hasan, Director of CWCCI said CWCCI is always there for you. We want to give you the opportunity to gain skills on doing business. Being a member of CWCCI you always will get it when there’s a scope for you. But you’ve to implement the knowledge you’re getting from it.
Ms. Nuzhat Nuery Kristy, Director of CWCCI also presented the session, she said F-commerce is good but if you want to take your business globally then E-commerce is the best. You’re lucky among thousands of business women; only you’re selected for the training. Let’s take the knowledge and start implementing it in your business.
E-Commerce business:
Transforming from F-commerce to E-commerce is important for us because the Facebook platform is not secure until you maintain all the community standards. You never know when and how you can lose your business page even without any violations. It is not a pure business platform. It’s a social media platform.
Doing online business is a blessing if you can maintain it well. If you’ve a proper plan and guidelines you can grow your business worldwide. But before that you need to have a website where you can start your business. You need to know all the ins and outs of the E-commerce platform and how it works.
In this 4 day long training I’ve focused on a total of 8 sessions where a fresher can easily understand all the necessary and important information that is related to ecommerce business. They’ve got basic knowledge on how an e-commerce site is created and how to operate it. They’ve also gained the importance of how to create content for it.
I have been working with CWCCI for a couple of months as Advisor for the Business Development Support Center of CWCCI-ILO Progress Project and this is my second training for the SMEs. First batch of Training on Road Map of F-Commerce to E-Commerce was held on 2-3 December 2023. I am really happy to work with them and all the participants were so helpful during the training. I believe that they will implement the technique which they’ve learned during the training period.
